Let’s get into my favorite plus size lingerie!

What can we say about 2020?  I am ready to pop some champagne and say goodbye to such a tough year. Regardless, I always like to find a reason to celebrate + find gratitude for the lessons I learned each year. This year was all about uncovering my self worth, what kind of life do I really want to lead and what do I really want to do? Do we all feel like completely new people?! I am so so grateful to have those I love in my life, to have a career that is about connecting + empowering other plus size people and to truly be in love with my life.

Grateful to be here at The B Word, with you for almost 6+ years! Tell me, what did your 2020 teach you and what are you bringing into 2021?

I am a LONG time Yandy shopper and lover!

If you’ve been here for a long time, you know I am a huge fan of Yandy. I have shopped Yandy I started The B Word. For years they’ve carried my favorite plus size corsets, some going up to 4-5X. I even wore some Yandy pieces to New York Fashion week in 2019! They have SO many options…have you looked through their accessories and shoes?? I’ve tried lingerie, corsets, tights/nylons, swimwear, shoes and accessories from Yandy….they are my go to shop for unique plus pieces.

How are you ringing in the new year?! 

This New Years Eve, may look different but I’m still going to be home in style! My plans include champagne, Yandy lingerie, some onion dip (lol!) and Netflix with my boyfriend. Yandy sent me a few pieces to get into the New Years Eve spirit and I wanted to show you!

How does Yandy fit?

For size reference, I am a size 22, 3X and 6’0 tall. As a plus size fashionista,  I feel like I’m a professional shopper from all the trial + errors I’ve had…so fit is important to me. To be completely honest, some Yandy pieces dont work for me fit wise and that’s okay. Some pieces fit perfectly and are some my favorite things I own (I have this stretch corset in both colors!). So Yandy does require some trying on but again, some of my Yandy lingerie pieces are some of the best lingerie I’ve found on the plus market….and you guys know I SEARCH + have tried it all!

This Velvet Emerald Chemise…….is SO GOOD! I got it in a 3X, there is so much stretch and the crushed velvet is it! I’m very tall with a long torso, so the ruching didn’t gather that much on me. If you’re short or have a smaller torso, that gathered look will work for you! I cant lie, I feel sexy, glam and cute in this piece!

Yandy Corsets are the REAL deal!

This is my FAVORITE corset I’ve ever owned! The front zipper makes it SO easy to put on without help. It also has some stretch so it gives you the corset look without being super uncomfortable. I have owned this piece for over a year and have worn it COUNTLESS times. You’re welcome, thank me later, enjoy! LOL!
