I got a MYX Fitness Bike, let’s talk about it!

So, I don’t think we’ve ever formally discussed fitness on The B Word. I honestly shy away from it because when a fat person discusses fitness typically people have things to say. Following accounts like Meg Boggs has inspired me to lean into my desire to move my body at whatever fitness level I’m at. Cue my fitness bike!

Finding the best bike for plus size + tall bodies..

I worked from home, even prior to COVID, so we’ve been searching for an at home option we could use to get some more movement in our days. My boyfriend and I searched high and low for a bike that fit our unique needs. We’re both very tall (He’s 6’9 and I’m 6’0), we needed something that could work for big and tall folks. We also needed something that was cost effective. I wanted something with classes because hi, I’m a fitness beginner.

How are the guided courses?

I really enjoy the guided classes. On MYX Fitness, they’re prerecorded but there are SO many we haven’t even worked through 5% of them within this month! There are yoga classes, floor weight classes, science bike tours, media, cycling classes….everything.
