I look up to a small group of influential women. I’m writing this blog post listening to an acoustic recording of Lady Gaga singing Imagine, while a Barbra Striestand poster watches me from my wall; Lady Gaga, Barbra Striestand, Oprah and Nadia Aboulhosn. These women, amongst others, have been some of my greatest inspirations, keeping me constantly motivated. Nadia came out with her own line and I jumped on it, like this was my long time friends collection drop. Nadia has changed the game, all while changing women’s lives and I’m sure she doesn’t even know how far she reaches. I read her blog everyday after I discovered it in 2010, for tips on confidence, inspiration and all around boss babe motivation. She was unapologetic and I loved her for it.

Today is my two year anniversary of The B Word and I’m in awe of where we are. I started because I loved inspiring and empowering women through fashion. Blogging and styling is also a creative outlet and an expression for me. I can’t thank you all enough for rocking with me and I can’t wait to see where this year takes us! I want to get back to what made blogging fun for me, which was creatively styling. So expect more of that 2017!
