It’s my favorite time of the year! Blame my theatre background, blame my love for fashion and costumes, blame my love for a themed party, but Halloween hits different, right?! Especially this year, I’m looking for ways to brighten up my 2020 and celebrate. I will gladly put on some makeup, I will gladly put on a costume and get spooky or sexy or cute or all three! Bring on the plus size Halloween!

Have you shopped Yandy for Halloween costumes?

I am partnering with Yandy, a company I love and have shopped for years, to bring you some of my favorite plus size Halloween costumes! I have to be honest I typically style costumes from my closet for Halloween because I can’t find costumes I love in my size, but this year I wanted to see what was out there and ohhh myyy god, I was surprised! Yandy is my go to for everything sexy and plus sized.

How is sizing?

They have lingerie in plus, tights and fishnets in plus and all kinds of fun things…most importantly in plus sizes. In the past I have struggled to find cute, trendy, sexy costumes as I typically wear a 3X and I’m 6’0 tall! So I have the,  “it might not fit issue” and,  “it might be way too short issue”. Here is where Yandy comes in!

What’s the price point?

So I start looking for costumes in my sizes, under $100 and are something that I could win the costume contest with. I want to be a sexy maid – I want to be something cute – give us the options. After searching the deep internet and what feels like the black market, I went back to Yandy.com to see their options. NOT only do they have 144+ plus size costume options……they were all in my size, all in my price range AND CUTE. So I scrolled past the “Sexy Ninja”…..barely, I wanted this one too!….and I made my selections!

I picked French Maid, Little Red Riding Hood and Sailor looks! I have never gotten the opportunity to try iconic Halloween costumes like these and it’s time!

Okay, I need to know which look you would choose?! I really liked them all! Everything was fun to wear, all the accessories come with it and bam you have a costume! I found the fit, to work for me well because each costume had stretch, making them comfortable to wear. Passed the fit test! Now the height test…okay I’m tall, things can be short on me. With these if I wore a tulle petticoat it would be no problem! Costumes like these are made to be short, I wanted the whole Halloween fantasy! So, for me, it passed the length check by just adding an underskirt. The French Maid costume with fishnets and shoes, was still under $100! Thank you Yandy for not busting my budget!

All and all I was impressed by Yandy‘s plus size costume options, the size options, the price range and the fit + style of costumes! I already LOVED shopping with Yandy, but now I have a go to place for all in one costumes!
